Donald Joseph Reinagel, 83, of Collinsville, IL passed away at 7:10 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.
He was born October 21, 1929 in St. Louis, MO to Joseph Henry and Audrey Susan (nee: Wilson) Reinagel. Donald and Mary Frances Wallace married August 16, 1958 in St. Louis, MO.
Don met his wife through the Arthur Murray Dance Studio, and they raised their four sons in the Collinsville, IL area. He enjoyed gardening, Hawaii, and seventeen visits to Disney World with his wife and various family members. Favorite pastimes included listening to music, fishing, and going to auctions (#114).
He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict and worked as an inspector for Federal Food and Drug in St. Louis, MO, Swift Company in East St. Louis, IL and was self-employed at Fran's Cake Decorating in Collinsville, IL.
Don is preceded in death by both parents. Donald is survived by his wife, Mary Frances (nee: Wallace) Reinagel of Collinsville, IL; four sons and daughters-in-law: James Carl & Val Secrease of Souderton, PA, Stephen Carl & Rena Reinagel of Temecula, CA, Wayne Allen & Susan (Shields) Reinagel of Collinsville, IL, and Thomas Allen & Stacey Reinagel of Moro, IL; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
