Charles Lee Riggins, Jr. 75, of Lake Iroquois, Loda passed away at 10:25 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2016, at his home.

A visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2016, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells Street, Paxton.
Charlie was born October 10, 1941 in Granite City the son of Charles Lee and June Stack Riggins, Sr. He married Diane Lynn Schuldt October 8, 1983. She survives.
Along with his wife, Diane, he is survived by two sons, Terry Lee Riggins of Lake Iroquois, Loda and David Wayne (Debbie) Riggins of Granite City; three grandchildren, T. J., Kalla and Amber Della Riggins; three sisters, Mary Lou Davis of Tamms, Cathy Evans of Glen Carbon, Patty Riggins of Edwardsville and three brothers, Joey Riggins of Grant Fork, John Riggins of Edwardsville and Kevin Riggins of Edwardsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Della Louise Riggins and a brother, Billy Riggins.
Charlie graduated from high school in Washington, Indiana and served in the United States Navy for four years. He retired at the age of 70 as a truck driver for Yellow Freight. Charlie moved to Lake Iroquois in 2012 and was in charge of maintenance and security. He enjoyed working and fishing.
