Marlene M. Middleton, age 82 of Marine, IL, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.
She was born February 01, 1934, in Highland, IL, the daughter of William and Eleanor (nee Howells) Wildhaber .
She was of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Middleton worked at the Pamida Store from 1978-1984; and then worked in Professional Care in October of 1984. In 1989, she worked for Residential Options where she cared for adults with mental handicaps. She retired in 2002.
Survivors include daughter Lynn M. Rinderer, Highland, IL; son Steve M. (Kim) Middleton, Liberty, MO; daughter Cheryl A. Basye, Granite City, IL; daughter Lisa L. (Mike) Schipkowski, Glen Carbon, IL; son Michael S. (Lisa) Middleton, New Baden, IL; sister Jean A. (Ronald) Prott, Marine, IL; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her father, William F. Wildhaber died Jan. 10, 1979; mother Eleanor Wildhaber nee Howells , who died March 9, 1993 and son-in-law Paul J. Rinderer, who died Feb. 9, 2010
Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL and from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Friday, January 13, 2017, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 13, 2017, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL., with , Rev. Fr. Scott A. Snider officiating.
Interment will be at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL.
