Wilma Mary Foe, age 81, of Edwardsville, Illinois died at 1:29 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014, at her home.
Wilma was employed at Walmart for 8 years and was a homemaker. She was born September 8, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late William & Mary (Bolough) Kovacs.
She married Rue E. Foe on May 28, 1955 in Cleveland.
Besides her husband she is survived by a son, William "Bill" Foe and his wife Debbie of Houston, Texas; 2 daughters, Patricia "Patty" Stone & her husband Bob of Mascoutah, Illinois and Melinda Pauk & her husband Jeff of Edwardsville; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Thome of Cleveland.
Wilma was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara King and 1 granddaughter, Rachel Anne Foe Pauk.
Wilma was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Edwardsville and the PEO. Wilma was a loving mother, and grandmother. She was loved by everyone who met her. Wilma always had a kind word, a smile, or positive thought to offer. If you ever stopped by to visit her, she would always offer you something to eat and a fresh cup of coffee.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Dr. John Hembruch and Rev. Joy Myers officiating.
Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Metro East Humane Society or the First Presbyterian Church.
