Floyd Foreman Obituary
He was born Dec. 11, 1944, in Owensboro, Ky., the son of the late Floyd Foreman Sr. and Margaret Moore Foreman.
He married Patty H. Wilkerson on Sept. 23, 1967, in Owensboro, Ky. She survives.
Also surviving are children: Stacie (David) Miller of Granite City, Thad (Mary) Foreman of Edwardsville and Stephanie (fiancée Kevin Kavanaugh) Foreman of Granite City: one sister: Brenda Rynders of Granite City; one brother: Jonathon (Anya) Foreman of Douglas, Wyo., and grandchildren: Samantha, Preston and Tyler.
Mr. Foreman was a member of International Union of Bricklayers Local No. 8. David was involved in organizing the Granite City Elks Soccer League, served as a soccer coach and sponsored many soccer and baseball teams. He also helped develop Soccer For fun in Pontoon Beach. He worked with industrial trades in the Granite City School District. He was also a founding member of Omni Bank in Pontoon Beach. Mr. Foreman was a general contractor and land developer in Madison County for more than 50 years.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, at Thomas Saksa Funeral Home in Granite City.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Shriners Hospital for Children.

Sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I was with him in Ft.Knox,ky in 66 and Dave built a house for me in Glen Carbon in 75.
