Mary J. Golden, 85, formerly of Fountain Hill, Pa., died Saturday at Cedarbrook, Allentown.
She was the wife of the late Edward J. Golden, who died in 1992.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Sullivan) McCloskey. Mary worked as a sales associate for the former Hess's main store in Allentown, for 30-plus years, until retiring in 1996. She was a member of St. Ursula's Catholic Church, the Golden Hillers, and was also a former member of the Fountain Hill Republican Club.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Mary Ellen Oroskey and husband, Joseph, of Whitehall; son, Thomas J. Golden and wife, Tara, of New Tripoli, and twin sons, John M. Golden, of Royersford, and Edward P. Golden, of Philadelphia; and grandchildren, Joey and Patrick Oroskey, Teal, Tori and Teagen Golden.
Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 to 11.am. Wednesday.
