Kelley, Robert (Bob) - Mertzon  
Robert (Bob) Kelley Mertzon Robert "Bob" Kelley passed away at his home in Mertzon on April 24, 2016, at the age of 57. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2016, at the funeral home. Memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016, in Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Mills Caraway officiating. Services are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Robert was born Aug. 17, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Richard and Jerry (Wagoner) Kelley. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Petroleum Engineering, then a lifelong career follow as a petroleum engineer in the West Texas oil fields. When not in the oil field, Bob enjoyed working with his cattle and on his hay farm. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a master craftsman. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jeff Kelley; and son Cody Quigg. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Suzie Kelley; his children, Clint Kelley and wife Casey, Megan Kelley and Allison Johnson and husband Jack; daughter-in-law Sally Quigg; grandchildren Cody, Bianca, Tresten and Lexi; sisters Jill Ulrych and Jan Carlson; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Helen Elaine Kelpe san angelo Helen Elaine Kelpe, 90, died Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Service is at noon Saturday in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel with burial in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Williams and Cassie West; son Roland Kelpe; and brother Wayne Tafolla.

Knight, Dallas J. - San Angelo  
Dallas J. Knight SAN ANGELO Dallas J. Knight, 81 , went on to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. Visitation will be held all day Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the funeral home with family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2016, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home/Grape Creek. Dallas was born Jan. 24, 1935, in Elkton, Kentucky. He was the fourth and last child of Hubert and Agnes Murphy Knight. The order of birth was Roberta Knight(Gilliam),Ruben Knight, Dorothy Knight(Barr) and Dallas Knight. Dallas served for eight years in the Army from January 1958 to January 1966. He served three tours of duty in Korea and one tour of duty in Vietnam. He was in the Combat Engineers. He had obtained the rank of E5(Sergeant) when he was discharged. He was a member of the San Angelo Downtown Lions Club for many years until his health prevented him from attending. Dallas was a kind-hearted, generous man who always put others needs above his own. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his parents; and all of his siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of seven years, Flo Knight; two children, David and Brendi; five grandchildren, Crystal Turner, Tori Knight, Tyler Martin, Cooper Martin and Jeanie Marie Trotter: four great-grandchildren, Christain, Alex, Abby and Zephen Turner; three stepchildren, Debbie and Donna Hendrix and Darla Avila (Mike); his step-grandsons, Matthew and Layne Aldridge; and numerous other family members and friends.
