Donna Snider Campbell

SAN ANGELO Donna Snider Campbell, 57, passed away peacefully on Wednsday, Nov. 6, 2013, in a local care center. A memorial service celebrating Donna's life is at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at Paulann Baptist Church. For family and friends in the Houston area, a memorial service was held on Nov. 12, 2013, at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson. Donna was born Feb. 17, 1956, in Texas City. She graduated from Central High School in San Angelo in 1974. After high school, she received a degree in nursing and graduated near the top of her class. However, Donna later chose a different path and received her teaching certificate. She taught school for many years in the Christoval ISD. Many of Donna's studenets quoted that she was their favorite teacher. Donna is survived by her daughter, Jessica Campbell and fiance Jason Patton; grandson Jett of Sante Fe, Texas; brother David Snider and wife Terry of San Angelo; sisters Lisa Leverett and husband Scott of San Angelo and Lori Kollin and husband Chris of Elizabeth, Colo.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Campbell; and parents Nellie and Bill Snider. Very special thanks go to Regency House for making Donna a member of their family and to Vista Care Hospice for the comfort and care shown to Donna the last year plus of her life. Thanks to all the volunteers that visited and read to Donna over the years. In honor of Donna, donations can be made to the Regency House Care Center or Vista Care Hospice. Donna, we will always miss your smile, your kindness and your generosity. Until we meet again, there will be a huge void in the lives that all knew and loved you. May your spirit sora through the clouds as you are free again.
