VALERA Kay entered through the gates of heaven on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at the young age of 57. She was born in Ballinger, Texas, on April 28, 1956, to the late Robert Ervin and Betty Jo (Cowlishaw) Moser. Kay grew up in Valera, Texas, for the majority of her childhood life and graduated from Talpa-Centennial High School. Kay was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Alisha Belit Lamkin; and her beloved dog, Chew. She is survived by her son, Joshua Ryan; and grandson Nolan Mitchell Lamkin of Katy, Texas; brother Kenneth (Butch) Moser and wife Elissa (Davis) of Moody, Texas; and sister Thressa (Trecia) Yoder and husband Tony of San Antonio, Texas. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews, Kent Moser, Kandra Rincones, Kelsey Mantey, Alex Yoder and Tyler Yoder. She is also survived by three great-nieces, Cailyn Moser, Alaina and Kensley Mantey; and one great-nephew, Kade Rincones; as well as other extended family members who she loved and adored. Funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at Bear Creek United Methodist Church in Katy, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at Valera Baptist Church.
