WINTERS Geraldine "Jerry" Lloyd, 85, of Winters, died Friday, June 7, 2013. She was born on Dec. 12, 1927, to D.C. and Freida Robertson in Wilmeth. She grew up in Wilmeth and Winters. She graduated from Dublin High School. She married George Ferrell Lloyd on Aug. 31, 1946, in Abilene. She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for Mac Construction Company and Pool Well Service in Winters and then for Mac Oilfield for 49 1/2 years. She was a member of the Winters V.F.W. Post #9193 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winters. Her life revolved around her family, her church and her community. She was a minister to all she met. She is survived one daughter, Linda Byler of Ballinger; one sister, Charlotte Barker and husband Bill of Winters; one brother, Dr. Eugene Robertson and wife Peggy of Euless; one brother-in-law, M.R. Williams of Winters; two grandchildren, Shamone Minzenmayer and husband Brian of San Angelo and Shannon Parrish and husband Howard of Arlington; four great-grandchildren, Kevin and Kelsey Minzenmayer of San Angelo and Brittany and Bethany Parrish of Arlington; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ferrell Lloyd; and one brother and one sister, John "Cotton" Robertson and Patricia Williams. Family visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2013, at her home, 103 Mel in Winters. Celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Winters. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery directed by Winters Funeral Home.
