SAN ANGELO Gladys Rosentreter Shaw, 88, of San Angelo, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 27, 2012. She was born March 26, 1924, in Hill County, Texas, to Ben and Elsie Rosentreter. She married H.J. Shaw March 31, 1946, in Llano. They were married for 41 years before he preceded her in death in 1987. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jesse Rosentreter and Frank Rosentreter, two sisters, Floy Maberry and Ruby Smith; and one granddaughter, Kimberli O'Neal. She is survived by four children, Linda Hutchins and husband Mike of San Angelo, Denise Warner and husband Charles of Canyon, Stanley Shaw and wife Patricia of Frisco and Philip Shaw of San Angelo; one brother, Ben Rosentreter and wife Judy of Mesquite; seven grandchildren, Monica O'Neal, Leslie Quiroz, Kiley Higginbotham, Scott Warner, Kevin Warner, Jason Shaw and Megan Shaw; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Johnson's Funeral Home chapel with burial following in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Dr. Travis Monday officiating.
