SAN ANGELO Hardy Lee Webb, 59, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at his residence. Hardy was at his best when he was helping others. He was a volunteer at Shannon and was once awarded Volunteer of the Year. He took meals to the sick, opened his home to those down on their luck and literally gave the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was charismatic and never met a stranger. Hardy was the first to offer help to those in need. He dreamed to volunteer at St. Jude's Hospital. He had a real soft spot for children. In health, Hardy was an avid golfer and provided tough competition on the course. He enjoyed being a marshall at Quick Sand for years. Hardy expressed pride in his children and their many accomplishments and adored his grandchildren. He delighted in their laughter and took pleasure in spoiling them. Hardy received much joy in family and holiday gatherings and his presence will be forever missed. Mr. Webb was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Dorothy Webb; and one stepson, Lance Schkade. Hardy is survived by Jeannie Webb; two daughters, Emily and husband Jeremy Rieger of San Antonio, Texas, and Alison and husband Don West of Aubrey, Texas; one stepson, John and wife Julie Schkade of San Angelo, Texas; three grandsons, Dalton West, Rhett Rieger, Lance Schkade; one granddaughter, Londyn Schkade-Coats; stepfather Dalton Trvitt; one sister, Patty and husband Darrell Williamson; one nephew, Jeff and wife Natalie Chapman; and two nieces, Kim and husband Shawn Teal and Mikki Marshall. Arrangements are pending with Johnson's Funeral Home. Family and friends can sign the online register book at johnsons-funeralhome.com.
