AUSTIN Helen Englert Beeman, 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 10, 2013, in San Antonio, Texas. Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2013, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church located at 4800 Convict Hill Road in Austin with Father Pat Coakley, celebrant. Visitation with the family will follow the service. Helen was a devoted Catholic who touched so many through her acts of love and generosity. She has been involved with the painting and crafts, servicing in the church activities, West Texas Service for the Deaf Association, Texas School for the Deaf and assisting parents of deaf and hard of hearing children. She served in the military as Naval WAVE during World War II. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, M.E. Beeman; and two daughters, Vivian Fisher of Waco and Marian Beeman of Abilene. She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Nelson (Greg) of Rockport and Lynette Underwood (Phillip); her son, Craig Beeman of Austin; five grandsons; and five great-granddaughters.
