ABILENE Jack F. Myers, 71, of Abilene, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013, in North's Memorial Chapel with Pastor Keith Clifton officiating. The family received friends Monday, July 8, in North's Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange St. Mr. Myers was born on March 8, 1942, in San Angelo, Texas, to Archie and Nettie Myers. He graduated from North Texas University with a BA in business. He worked as a food broker for Sysco Foods for 30 years and Wes-T-Go Convenience Stores for nine years. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his grandsons. Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Nettie Myers. He is survived by a brother, James Myers of Abilene; a daughter, Steffanie Dayton of Lubbock; a son, Steven Myers of Dallas; and his grandsons, Zachary Dayton and Adam Dayton of Lubbock and Caleb Koch of Dallas and Dustin and Carey Dayton of Lubbock.
