Joe Jimenez Obituary

SAN ANGELO Joe "JoJo" Jimenez Jr. of San Angelo, passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2010. He was 27. Joe was born July 11, 1983, to Joe and JoAnn Jimenez in Lockney, Texas. Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel. Funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, at the Temple Siloe Church with Pastor Arthur Aguero and Pastor Juan Ponce of the Temple Nueva Vida Church of Alvarado, Texas, officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home. To all who knew Joe, they knew him as "Little Joe" or "LJ," but most knew him as "JoJo." JoJo had a big loving heart and he was always offering his best to all. We will miss his goofiness, his love for music and seeing him take and pose for photos. His favorite Psalm was Psalms 121. JoJo leaves behind many family members and many friends and acquaintances. It will be difficult saying goodbye to his physical existence, but great memories of him will live in our hearts forever. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Gutierrez; children Belinda and Oscar Mosqueda; parents Joe and JoAnn Jimenez; sister Monica Jimenez; niece and nephew Alyanna and Jeremiah Cano; and brother in-law Ricky Cano, all of San Angelo; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Benito and Beda Morales of Plainview, Texas; mother-in-law Raquel Ortiz and brother-in-law Alfredo Gutierrez, both of Mexico; and many other family members from Mexico from his wife's side of the family; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Pallbearers will be Johnny Ponce Jr., Jacob Ponce, Jason Ponce, Matthew Guerrero, Robert Molina, Juan Molina, Dario Molina and Raymond Casildo. Family and friends may sign the online register book at johnsons-funeralhome.com.
