SAN ANGELO Jose Angel "Joey" Gonzales passed away in San Angelo, Texas, on Friday, June 29, 2012. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/Knickerbocker. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/Knickerbocker. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Services are under the care of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/Knickerbocker. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert and Maria E. Garcia; daughter Jackie Gonzales; brothers Jesse Garcia and wife Irma, Johnny Garcia and wife Karen, James Garcia, Jason Garcia and Roberto Briones Sr., all of San Angelo, and Jimmy Garcia and wife Donna of Irving, Texas. Other survivors include three granddaughters, Jade, Jolie and Jaycee; and his favorite friend and cousin, Becky P. Lopez.
