SAN ANGELO Oralia Guajardo Arias, age 63, a very loving and caring mother went to be with our Lord in heaven on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, peacefully at her home with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren at her side. Proud owner of La Popular Bakery & Cafe in Abilene, Texas, since 1984, began the family business in 1977, in San Angelo, Texas, with her late husband, Jose Luis Arias Sr. Oralia was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Abilene, Texas. She was a mother to so many, never turning anyone away. She had a huge heart and a beautiful smile that lifted many and will continue to do so. Her home was always welcomed to anyone that needed it. Her joy was cooking and having everyone at her home making sure that everyone was taking care of. She will never be forgotten and will continue to live through many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Luis Sr.; and her son, Rolando. Viewing will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at Elliott Funeral Home, 5701 U.S. Hwy. 277. Viewing will start at 11 a.m. Friday in the Remembrance Chapel of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North, 1002 N. Oakes St., San Angelo, Texas. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 2309 A & M Ave., in San Angelo, Texas. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 1501 W. Avenue N. Services have been entrusted to the Arnoldo Gutierrez family and Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North. Oralia is survived by her sons, Jose Luis Jr. (Rosa) and his children, Jose Luis III, Ricardo, Savannah, Stacey, Sylvia, Jonathan and Jessica; 11 great-grandchildren; and Ricardo (Michelle), and his two daughters, Natalyia and Naylinn. She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Luis, Sr. and her son Rolando. We love you mom and we will dearly miss you!
