An enthusiastic UT Longhorns fan, Ron had his photo taken with 1995 National Championship quarterback Vince Young, decorated his office and home with Longhorn paraphenalia and he made sure his beloved dog, Coly, got to see the UT football games when he was out of town. Ron is survived by his 25-year companion of the heart, Chris Brininstool, of Jal; also by his aunt, Bonnie Stubbs; and cousins Charles Stubbs of Marcy Tombosky of Odessa, Texas, and James Jones of Irvine, Calif.
