Ken was a very interesting and smart man. Please accept our deepest sympathy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I very much enjoyed the opportunities I had to visit with him.

I remember Ken from the 4th grade on, and in '49 and '50 he was one of my ham radio mentors. My last visit with him, in that unpretentious upstairs office in the old Gunter Company building, was such a delight, discussing old San Angelo and what he'd done. I was so impressed. Farewell Ken.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Although I never met Ken, I have been close to his family for years. His Sister, June, was the epitome of class, dignity and kindness. His niece and nephew, Anne and John, whom I have known for 44 years, show me how the Gunter family were always great people. May Ken rest with the Angels.

Dear Brenda -- Ken spent the happiest years of his life with you, for which all of his friends are grateful. Gail and I had the pleasure of knowing Ken since 1979, and we truly enjoyed all the years during which he and I worked together. A man with such intelligence and integrity -- and adventure and fun! Love always from the two of us.

When I was a teenager and would have a sleepover with Ken's sister, he was a bag of trouble. His greatest delight (at age 10) was to wire the doorknob so as to shock the girls when they went in or out of the bedroom. I knew he would go far ! Rest in peace, dear Ken.

Ken was a kind and highly intelligent man. I'll always remember him smiling and laughing at Thanksgiving at Anne's house in Austin.

The Huffman family sends their condolences to Ken's family. Our dad thought a lot of Ken and enjoyed being a partner with him in the tv cable business. God bless each of you.
