Jerry Wayne Weaver

SAN ANGELO Jerry Wayne Weaver passed away to start his new journey with the lord on July 29, 2014. Jerry was born to Quinn and Clara Mae Weaver Feb. 4, 1942, in La Crosse, Arkansas. The family moved to the farming community of Lazbuddie, Texas when he was in high school. In May 1966, Jerry enlisted in the United States Army where he served his country in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1969. Following his honorable discharge Jerry returned to Lazbuddie, Texas. Jerry worked as a farmer along with his dad, Quinn and brother Jimmy until going to work for Parmer County, Texas as foreman for the road maintenance crew. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Quinn and Clara Mae Weaver; wife Cheryl Weaver; and son Brent Weaver. Jerry is survived by his two children, daughter JoeLe and husband Jason Dale of Morganton, North Carolina; son Bobby and wife Belinda Weaver of San Angelo, Texas; his two sisters, Patsy Henson and Linda Stone; and brother Jimmy Weaver. Jerry will always be remembered for his kindness and his smile that would light up the room. Jerry enjoyed talking about his family, grand-dogs, and was always sharing a joke to make others laugh. The family will like to express a heartfelt thank you to all the loving and supportive staff of Park Plaza Nursing Home that have helped care for Jerry and have become part of the family.
