HOUSTON Gary Lyn Hayes 54, of Humble, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Gary was born Jan. 4, 1959, in San Angelo, Texas, to Kyle and Charlotte Hayes. He worked alongside his father building concrete tanks and troughs until he moved to Houston area in 1998, where he worked as a project manager for several different companies. He was currently employed at Boyer Incorporated as a project manager. He married Jonette Damron, Sept. 23, 1978, in San Angelo. Gary was preceded in death by his father; and brother Steve Hayes. Survivors include his wife, Jonette Hayes, Humble, Texas; two sons, Gary Lyn Hayes II and wife Kristie, Geoffrey Hayes and Windy Crisp; mother Charlotte Hayes; grandmother Katie Hutchinson; two sisters, Debra Phillips and husband Mark, Kristi Bowling and husband Jeff; sister-in-law Jean Hayes; two very special granddaughters, Kami Hayes (Punkin) and Abby Hayes (Peanut); aunts, uncles and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday July 26, 2013, at Rosewood Funeral Home, 22271 US Highway 59 N, Porter, TX 77365. A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013, in Rosewood Funeral Home chapel in Porter, Texas. Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park in Porter.
