Thomas Lomonaco Obituary

LOMONACO, THOMAS PAUL Thomas Paul Lomonaco, age 59, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 4, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Anne Lomonaco. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Diane; children, Jason Lomonaco of Indianapolis, IN, Stacy (Kevin) Patterson and Rebecca (fiance, Justin) Lomonaco; siblings, Peggy (Jon) Matteson, Jim (Rhonda) Lomonaco and Gerry (Doris) Lomonaco of Cypress, CA; father-in-law, Jack Slooter; brother-in-law, Wayne (Denise) Slooter; also nieces and nephews. He was a much loved husband, father, brother and uncle. Tom worked as a Market Executive at Bank of America. He was a board member of Hospice of Michigan as well as the Economic Development Foundation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 8 at 11:00 AM at St. Robert of Newminster Church, 6477 Ada Drive SE, Rev. Leonard Sudlik, presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 7 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE and Thursday one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, 129 Jefferson Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503, Hospice of Michigan, Donation Processing Center, 989 Spaulding Ave. SE, Ada, Michigan 49301 or a charity of your choice.

Diane and Family

I really appreciated Tom as a manager and mentor. He taught me life lessons that have made me a better person. I will always have fond memories of time spent with him including golf trips to Arcadia Bluffs. He had a great zest for life...always smiling and laughing.
