Louise Palmer

PALMER LOUISE G. Louise G. "Lois" Palmer, 92, of Grand Rapids, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Donn Palmer; and her two sons, Richard (Jemery) and Woody (Bonnie); and her grandchildren, Justin (Melissa) and Vanessa. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her parents, Ludwig and Stella Greiner; Aunt Mary Bechtel, who raised Lois after her mother's early death. Lois received her B.A. in education from Wayne State University and her Master's in Library Science from the University of Michigan. Lois taught in Grand Rapids, Ferndale, Royal Oak and Livonia. She loved teaching, travel, gardening and time with her family. She is a member of Cascade Christian Church. Most recently, she, with her husband were residents of Canadian Lakes and Breton Woods. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11am in the chapel at Cascade Christian Church, 2829 Thornapple River Dr SE. Memorial contributions in Lois's memory may be directed to Spectrum Hospice or to the church. The family is being served by
