Michael "Mickey" Covey

Michael Wayne "Mickey" Covey, 61, of Williamstown, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at his residence.
Mickey was a welder for Clow Corporation and a member of the Grant County Cattlemen's Association. He was a member of the Stewartsville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher and song leader.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Bay Covey in 1991.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Linda Mains Covey; a son, Christopher Michael Covey of Florence; a daughter, Lori Kidwell of Williamstown; a grandson, Austin Kidwell of Williamstown; his mother, Lula O'Hara Covey of Williamstown; brothers, Merle Covey of Sparta, Bobby Covey of Glencoe, Donnie Covey and Larry Covey, both of Crittenden, Richard Covey of Williamstown, David Covey and Dennis Covey, both of Dry Ridge; sisters, Sue Blackney of Dry Ridge and Helen Lawson of Independence. He has several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on May 8 at the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge.
Burial was in the Jonesville Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Stewartsville Baptist Church.
