Spencer William "Billy" Cook, 88, of Williamstown, died Tuesday, June, 11, 2013 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood.
He was a lifelong resident of Williamstown and was born in Williamstown on July 27, 1924 to the late Spencer and Mamie Penick Cook.
On March 30, 1946, he was united in marriage with the former Evelyn Eleanor Knight.
Survivors include his loving wife of over 66 years, Evelyn Eleanor Knight of Williamstown; a daughter, Carol Jean Cook of Dry Ridge; sisters, Mary Lou Neal of Erlanger and Jeanette West of Springboro, Ohio and other relatives and friends.
A son, Timothy Wayne Cook and a brother, Charles Hubert Cook preceded him in death.
A former Sunday School teacher and Sunday School superintendent, Billy remained a member of the Clark's Creek Baptist Church. He worked as a machine operator for the Clow Corporation for over 16 years and was a lifelong farmer.
Funeral services were held on June 15 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.
Burial was in the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
Memorials are suggested to the Sherman Full Gospel Assembly.
