Norman Dirille Doane, 81, of Crittenden, died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.

He was a retired circulation manager for the Kentucky Enquirer and a member of Crittenden Baptist Church. He was a Korean War Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by a son, Norman Dirille Doane, Jr. in 1958.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Livingood Doane; a son, Anthony W. (Gail) Doane of Williamstown; a daughter, Jennifer (Greg) Perry of Williamstown; a brother, Marvin E. (the late Josephine) Doane of Springfield, Ohio; a sister, Charlene (Rick) Garcia of Springboro, Ohio; five grandchildren, Jamie Durham, Jill Schuler, Colton Perry, Jordan Doane and Samantha Perry and four great grandchildren, Conor, Chuck, Aschten and Soldier.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. with funeral services being held at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 18 at the Crittenden Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the Crittenden Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Crittenden Baptist Church Missions.
