Brenda Faye Brogden, 61, of Jacksonville, Fla, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 after a long illness.
She was the daughter of the later Floyd J. and Lula B. Jones Kinman and born in Covington on Nov. 16, 1951. Brenda grew up in Grant County. And later moved to Jacksonville.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 25 years, Douglas Brogden; loving daughter, Kristy Ann and her fiance, Kevin; brothers, Ralph Gerald (Sandra) of Jacksonville, Fla. and Claude (Carol) of Dry Ridge; a sister, Ruby Hawkins of Jacksonville, Fla.; along with many nephews, nieces and firneds.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Russell, Floyd, Julian and sisters, Ruth Day and Anna Marshall Williams.
She was a homemaker and member of the Clarks Creek Baptist Church. She was avid about outdoors, driftwood, fishing and the water. She also loved crafts, antiques and flowers.
Brenda donated her body to science. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
