James A. Barrett
CASCADE —James A. Barrett, 81, of Cascade, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014.
James has been laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Cascade, MT.
James was born in Dowagiac, Michigan on August 7, 1932 to Tony and Juanita Barrett. He graduated from Grant Community High School in Fox Lake, IL in 1951. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. After the service, James was a barber and partner at Jim & Joe's Barber Shop in Ingleside, Illinois for 35 years.
He married Mattie Berg in 1954, and they have 4 sons. His family and friends were very important to him.
James is survived by his wife, Mattie Berg; sons Ross, Keith, Craig and Kevin; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

I am so sorry to see Jim's obituary in the paper. He was so special and meant so very much to me. I feel so much sadness for you, Mattie. I care so much for you all. He is a great loss to our world.
