HAVRE Russell O. Erickson, 73, of Havre, a U.S. Army veteran, retired Montana State Telephone and Telegraph worker, independent contractor, owner/manager of several rental properties and private pilot, died of congestive heart failure Saturday, April 20, at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.
Cremation has taken place, and memorial services are 2 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Havre. Committal services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Lawn Mausoleum in Great Falls. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home handled arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Janice of Havre; daughters Glenda Jane Knudsen of Malta and Laura Lynn Powell of Spokane; sister Marilyn Ployhar of Great Falls; brothers Joe Erickson of Ulm and Sid Erickson of Helena; nine grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
