Clarence Martin 'Shorty' Hamann

Vaughn —Clarence Martin 'Shorty' Hamann, 78, passed away of natural causes at his home, Thursday, July 18, 2013. Memorial services are planned for Saturday, July 27th, 1:00pm, Vaughn Fire Station. Interment in Sun River Cemetery at a later date.

Clarence was born on February 14, 1935 in Kalispell. He was raised in Kalispell, Fairfield and Sun River. He is married to Mary Kambo. After graduating high school he served honorably in the Marine Corps. His life's work was as a masonry contractor. He contributed to the community through service as a Little League coach and a Boy Scout leader. He loved to fish and hunt.

Survivors include wife Mary; children Cindy Skelton, Nancy (Tom) Murphy, and Daniel (Debbi) Hamann; siblings Marlene (Steve) Archuletta, Gail (Jim) Omta, Delores (Dale) Herman, Bonnie (Joel) McHale, Ernest (Terry), Marvin (Doreen) and James (Trudy); four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are parents Clarence and Violet; daughter Twila Jo; grandson Jason Skelton; brothers Hank and Darold.
