Donna Mae Stein-Ouellette

Donna Mae Stein-Ouellette, 82, of Great Falls, died of COPD Sunday, March 31, at a local hospice facility.

A cryptside service is 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Lawn Mausoleum. Croxford Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Donna is survived by daughter Sheila (Alan) Ewald of Conrad; sons Ken Ouellette of Great Falls and Gary Ouellette of Missoula; grandson Chad (Tiffany) Ewald; step-grandchildren Tasha Schmidt, Sonja Morris and Adam Morris; great-grandchild Shilo Ewald; and step-great-grandchild Paige Morris.

Those who have preceded Donna in death include her infant daughter, Judith Elaine Ouellette; husband Shirley Edward Ouellette; granddaughter Christina Marie Ewald; biological mother Olga Hene; mom Mary L. Houx; foster sister Thelma Schatz; and foster brother Earl Houx.

Donna was born April 3, 1930, in Grand Forks, N.D.. She was raised and schooled in St. John, N.D., and married in 1949 in Dilworth, N.D. Upon moving to Montana, she worked in Black Eagle at the Highhat and then in her later years she worked school lunches. Her passion was the Now & Then Shop, both collecting and working there.
