Great Falls —Services will be held Thursday, February 13, 2014, 2:00 PM at Croxford Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will be held at the Elks Lodge
500 1st Ave. So., Great Falls, MT, after the service.
Freddie was born October 2, 1946 to Thomas and Addie Jennelle in Corinne, WV and was educated in Mullens, WV. Freddie worked in the coal mines of WV and then moved to California and owned a service station for a number of years. Freddie relocated to Great Falls, MT in 1978 where he lived the remainder of his life. He worked for Coca -Cola before getting hurt in an auto accident.
He married his high school sweetheart Norma Gregory in 1965 and they had one son, Freddie Jennelle, Jr. They later divorced and after his move to Great Falls he met and married Diane Grossman and they have two sons, Matthew and Michael Jennelle.
Freddie loved spending time at the cabin at Seeley Lake and spent all summer there entertaining his sons, their friends, his friends and getting to know the locals. He loved going to the Griz games, rooting for his WV teams and the San Francisco 49ers. He would meet his buddies every day for coffee whether in Great Falls or Seeley Lake. Freddie never met a stranger and was the life of the party. Those who knew Freddie loved his sense of humor, gift of gab and his zest for life. He treasured all his time on golf trips, Arizona, Griz games and Seeley trips with his friends that are just too numerous to mention. We hope that you know that he treasured all of you and how important you were to him and time spent with you were some of his best memories.
Freddie is survived by his wife, Diane of 30 years, his sons Freddie (Bev) Jennelle, Jr of Vacaville, CA, Matthew and Michael Jennelle of Great Falls. Brothers James (Chris) Waddell of MO, Robert (Judy) Waddell of CA, Jack (Jean) Jennelle of TX, Norman (Jo) Jennelle of TX, Benny Jennelle of CA and a sister Betty (Bill) Arrington of CA along with numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
