Lewis H. Werle
Spokane, WA —Lewis H. Werle, age 88, native of Dodson, MT, passed away peacefully at his home in Spokane, WA, May 10, 2013. Memorial services were held May 18th in Spokane. Cremation has taken place. His ashes will be interned in Montana on July 20th. This will be his final trip home for beloved Phillips County Fair. A gathering of his family and friends will be held on July 20th at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall in Dodson where lunch will be served.
Lewis served in the Navy from 1942, re-enlisted in 1946, was re-activated for duty during the Korean Conflict
and was honorably discharged in 1952.
He served the San Francisco, CA Police Department from 1954 until his retirement in 1983. While there he was a proud member of the SFPD Bag Pipe Corp.
Survivors in Washington are his wife, Pat; daughters Nancy (Lyle) Martin, Sandra Lodge, Cindy Jeanotte, Toni (Vaugh) Lodge, John Jeanotte and Montana daughters Jessie James (Cranston) Hawley and Cathy (Gary) Fuchs and numerous grandchildren as well as Adams family members from Fort Belknap.
