Virginia Helen Naef, 92, of Great Falls, died of natural causes Wednesday, Jan. 23, at a local assisted living facility.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Croxford Funeral Home, 1307 Central Avenue. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
Virginia was born in Great Falls on April 3, 1920, to Edwin and Ernestine (Nolde) Kenison. She attended Great Falls schools, graduating from high school in 1937. She married Adolph G. Naef in Great Falls on Dec. 24, 1943. She worked at the Montana State School for the Deaf and Blind from 1937-41, the US Selective Service System Board #2 between 1941-47 and Great Falls National Bank from 1947-59. She enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling and music.
She is survived by a niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph in 2004; brothers George and James Kenison; sister Betty Edwards; sisters-in-law Sarah (Fink) Kenison and Marcella (Grochow) Kenison; and brother-in-law Donal Edwards.
She was beloved of many good friends and church members. She will be greatly missed by all.
It is suggested memorials be made to Peace Hospice of Great Falls.
