Virginia Louise Antonich

BELT Virginia "Ginny" Louise Antonich, 22, of Belt, died in a car crash Sunday, Jan. 20, in Cascade County.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Croxford Funeral Home, 1307 Central Avenue. Cremation will follow, and a private family service will be held later.

Our lovely, free spirit, Virginia "Ginny" Louise Antonich has spread her beautiful wings to go on one last road trip. Ginny, born May 23, 1990, passed away Jan. 20, 2013.

Ginny was the fourth child born to Roger and Mary Antonich of Belt, after her big sister Sara prayed for two years for a baby sister. Ginny graduated from Belt High School and was attending Montana State University. Ginny shone like a bright star in the Montana night sky. She was creative, artistic, fun-loving and had a flair for words beyond all others. Her flair for writing was nothing compared to her flair for life.

Our Ginny was always surrounded by friends. She learned to romp from her big brothers. She loved nothing more than to be laughing with her family and friends. Her smile and independent spirit lit up any room. She took the world by the end of the tail from the time she was little.

In addition to her parents, Ginny is also survived by her brothers, Tyrel (Amy) of Kalispell and Tell of Belt; sister Sara (Mike) Christensen of Belt; grandmother Louise of Belt; uncles and aunts Matt (Bonnie), Joe (Kathy), John (Pat), Morgan (Kate), Cindy (Bill) Reynen, David (Marilynn) Leland and Ginny Carper; great aunt Virginia Tesinsky; nephew Michael; and many, many cousins and too many friends to count.

She was preceded in death by grandfather Matt Antonich; grandparents George and Margaret Leland; and uncle Edward "Marty" Leland.
