HARLEM Arnold Jesse Plumage, 79, a U.S. Air Force veteran worked as an appraiser for the BIA until his retirement, died of an apparent heart attack Monday, April 8.

Wake services are 7 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fort Belknap. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday at the Harlem High School Little Gymnasium. Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook handled arrangements.

Survivors include children Jessie Joe Plumage of Mount Lake Terrace, Wash., and Wendy Plumage-Maratita of Harlem; brothers Joseph Plumage of Billings, Walter Plumage of Aberdeen, S.D., Charles Plumage of Fort Belknap, Waldo Plumage of Billings and Anthony Plumage of Fort Belknap; sisters Cheryl Plumage of Fort Belknap and Cathy Swain of St. George, Utah; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
