Audrey was born April 23, 1926 in Malta, the daughter of Everett and Millie M. (Caves) Stubblefield. She was raised on the family farm near Loring and attended school there until her senior year when she moved to Malta and graduated from Malta High School in 1944. She married Roger Ulrich on Sept. 1, 1945 in Malta. They had two children, Dale and Kenneth. Audrey enjoyed cooking and playing Golf with Roger. She was a very loyal member of the Little White Church, and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and P.E.O. She always had fresh homemade donuts on hand for mothers who would come to her home after dropping their children off at school. Living across from the elementary school, she would watch for her great grandchildren during recess. She and Roger spent 25 winters in Arizona. She enjoyed traveling with Roger during his 60 years with First State Bank of Malta, and meeting many people who became their friends.
Survivors include her son, Ken (Lana) Ulrich, grandson, Jason (Jamie) Ulrich, great grandchildren Zachary Boyd & Addison Audrey Ulrich all of Malta; sisters, Barbara Cowan of Loring, Thelma (Gary) Bjorklund of Cut Bank; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Oct. 25, 2006 and son, Dale.
