Conrad —Elizabeth Lorraine (Schultz) Nierstheimer, 89, passed away of natural causes Wed, Aug 21. A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Sat, Aug 24, at the Conrad First Presbyterian Church. Pondera Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Betty was born Jan 7, 1924 to Martin and Ora Schultz of Dutton. She grew up on a farm homestead outside of Dutton and graduated from Dutton High School and attended Kinman Business College. Betty had a full life and was an icon in Conrad as owner and operator of "Betty's Diner". Survivors include her daughter, Nancy (Brett) Carver of Dillon and son, Randy (Nanette) Nierstheimer of Colorado Springs; granddaughters, Amanda Carver of San Jose, CA, Christa (Jon) Elza of Osan, South Korea, Melissa Manweiler of Colorado Springs, grandsons, Bryce and Austin Carver of Dillon and Martin Nierstheimer of Kena, Hawaii; five great grandchildren, Adam, Carter, and Nolan Elza, Cohen and Finley Manweiler, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents and six siblings. Memorials may be given to the National Stroke Association or .
