Fred Nanini Obituary
Fred Nanini, 86, of Cut Bank, a retired oil field worker and U.S. Army veteran died of natural causes Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the Northern Rockies Medical Center.

At his request, cremation has taken place, and no services are planned. Whitted Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Fred was born Feb. 2, 1926, in Great Falls to Peter and Erma (Luchi) Nanini. Fred grew up and was educated in Cut Bank. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He and Wanda Wiley were married Jan. 28, 1953, in Cut Bank.

Fred worked for the Union Oil Company for nearly 45 years as a truck driver, pumper and rig hand before his retirement. He enjoyed roping, picking huckleberries, fishing, hunting and taking walks with Wanda around Cut Bank. He was an active member of the saddle club and roping club.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Wanda (Wiley) Nanini of Cut Bank; daughters Twila (Jurgen) Wigen of Devon and Theresa (David) Wilson of Pomeroy, Wash.; sister Bonnie (Lee) Manicke of Polson; brothers Ralph (Dodie) Nanini of Great Falls and Sam (Harriet) Nanini of Havre.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Mary Miller; and brothers Joe and Bill.
