George Found A Gun Obituary
TWO MEDICINE - George Found A Gun, 83, of Browning, died of natural causes Wednesday, June 13, at Browning Hospital.

A wake is in progress at Glacier Home Center. Rosary service is 7 p.m. Sunday at the center. Funeral mass is 2 p.m. Monday at Little Flower Catholic Church. Burial with military honors to follow in Willow Creek Cemetery. Pondera Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

George was born Aug. 24, 1928, as the youngest child of Paul and Maggie Found A Gun. "Little George" lived most of his life on the Two Medicine Valley. During his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, writing and enjoyed cooking for everyone. After the 1964 flood, George and his mother moved to Browning. George married Nancy Old Chief in 1976.

George was a proud U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was wounded in battle. George was also a member of the Blackfeet Veteran Society, with whom he had great respect and love for.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews of the Found A Gun, Yellow Owl, Running Rabbit, and Tail Feathers family.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Old Chief.
