Jessee Robert Von Bergen was born November 8, 1974 to Kay (Cogdill) and Korky Von Bergen of Cardwell and passed away on September 13, 2013 at home on the family ranch. From the time he could walk, he blessed the lives of many with his kind heart and sense of humor. He worked as a logger, truck driver, and most recently a mill operator for the Golden Sunlight Mine. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, smores around the campfire, and playing pranks on others. His favorite activities included spending time with the family, especially camping, riding horses, and playing in the park with his daughter, Shallynne.
Jess is preceded in death by grandparents Daryell and Marion Cogdill and Dot and Johnnie Von Bergen, as well as his father, Korky Von Bergen.
Family members include daughter Shallynne Von Bergen of Ennis, mother Kay Von Bergen of Cardwell, sister Lisa Von Bergen of Great Falls, brother John (Karmen) Von Bergen and sons Tyler and Zane of Cardwell, sister Mandy (Greg) Darkenwald of Cardwell and son Colton of Bozeman, sister Anna (Joe) Bradley and daughter Tressa of Great Falls, sister Cindy (Joe) Patritti and daughters Kennedy, Kassidy, McKinley, and Mariah of Silver Star, twin brother Jay of Cardwell, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 3:00 at the cemetery in Harrison, MT with a celebration of his life and luncheon to follow at the Harrison School lunchroom.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Von Bergen Scholarship fund at Harrison High School.
