Some of my fondest memories growing up in Black Eagle were of the Ranieri family and their many contributions to the Blessed Sacrament Church and the community. Larry was a few years older and was away at school while I grew up with Bozo, Lorraine and Raymond. It was at the all-school Hawthore/Collins reunion in 1995 that I was able to become reaquainted with Larry and we recalled a lot of fond memories in Black Eagle. My deepest condolances and sympthy to Larry's family. May God bless and keep you in his prayers,Fondly, Gene Marianetti

I heard many stories on Larry years ago when I cared for his mother Mary at Cambridge Court and met him at that time. Also spent time with sister Lorraine and brother Romeo. Please know that we send you all blessings and peace. You are all such a wonderful family and you strength is a true virtue. Sorry about Larry's passing. In our prayers. What a "true" kind/happy man Larry was. It was a pleasure to know him.

The loss of a hero. Larry Ranieri was my first athletic hero. Larry's brother, Ray, and I became friends in grade school. At that time Larry and Bill Mahon were star halfbacks on the then St Mary's high school football team. Ray and I would go to their games, but we were there to watch Larry. He was our guy, he was from our neighborhood. It has been 60 years but I can still see him, running knees high, breaking tackles at the line, once clear sprinting to the end zone for one of his many touchdowns. Great memories!

Deepest condolences to all the Ranieri family. Enjoy your own memories of your very special man and he will always remain in your hearts.

Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, the other gold.
