Phyllis was born Feb. 25, 1921, in New Ulm, Minn., to John and Pauline Reynolds. She was raised on the family farm near Kremlin. She married David Curtis in 1941. From that union came five children. They lived in Dutton, Shelby and Great Falls over the 71 years of their married life.

Phyllis loved to garden and had beautiful flower beds. She was an excellent cook, and, in her early years, she loved to sew. She is survived by her husband, David; her sister, Helen Baggerly of Beaverton, Ore.; her four daughters, Lynn (Gary) Good of Stockett, Carol (Larry) Hagbom of Auburn, Wash., Charlene Kitto of Great Falls and Reneé Curtis of Great Falls; eight grandchildren, Jeff Good, Chris Good, Ron Hagbom, Jennifer Ott, Kori Valentine, David Hagbom, Brandon Kitto and Jodi Larson; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her only son, Clayton Douglas Curtis in 1961; two brothers; and three sisters.
