Richard "Dick" Hugh Flesch, 67, of Great Falls, died of heart failure Thursday, Jan. 3, at a local hospital.

A celebration of life is 1 p.m. Saturday at Black Eagle Moose Club. Burial will be held at a later date in Lewistown Catholic Cemetery. Croxford Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements.
Dick, born July 12, 1945, in Lewistown, was a Judith Gap High School graduate, worked briefly for the smelter in Great Falls, lead mines in Colorado and lastly the Cascade County Nursing Home. He was active with the community watch program for which he received several certificates of recognition. Dick enjoyed playing with and raising several small dogs and teasing the smaller kids in the apartment complex where he lived. He played high school basketball and football, enjoyed deer hunting, and was an avid bowler until he was forced to quit because of back injuries. He was a member of the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana and in the last three years, he was actively involved with the several recent elections.
Survivors are brothers, Donald (Nell) of Orange Park, Fla., Francis (Mary) of Great Falls and Harold of Great Falls.
He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew Flesch; mother Agatha C. Flesch Dabson; sisters June and Judy; brothers Nile, Barney and James; and several nieces and nephews.
