Power —Rosemary Gouchenour, 75, originally from Ledger, MT, was called home Dec. 3, 2013 to be with her dear husband Don and her other loved ones.
She was 75 years old, born in SLC, UT, Nov. 11, 1938 - died from complications of diabetes. Visitation 6 p.m. Friday Dec. 6th, funeral the 7th of December at 11 am @ the LDS church in Conrad, MT with burial at Hillside cemetery in Conrad. Croxford Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Rosemary was born to Bettie and Dean Powell Sr. She lived in California, Utah and came to MT when she was 14 years old. She married Don Gouchenour Sr. June 30, 1954 - they raised 11 children had the opportunity to see 49 grandchildren and 65 great grandchildren. She loved family with all her heart. She helped with 26 foster children too. She was an avid reader, a 4-H leader, Home Demonstration Leader, cub scout den leader for many years, she sold Watkins, Fuller Brush, loved meeting people, loved flowers, loved to garden, loved animals, was an amazing cook, baker, she cooked at Chatcolab - she loved beading, leather work - she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, being a nurse to her kids, loved to do arts and crafts with her grandkids. She was active in church - loved music and sang beautifully.
Rosemary is survived by her children - daughters: Esther (Mike) Susan, Rachel (David) Pauline (Doyle) Bettine (Bob), Sons: Don (Debra), Clifford (Joan), Joseph (Eva), Chas (Shelene) Sam (Andrea) and Raymond (Milagros). She had 5 sisters and 5 brothers, 1 sister and 1 brother already passed away. She loved life and was a wonderful example.
