Ruth L. (Hage) Tripp, 95, formerly of Missoula, died of natural causes Tuesday, April 9, at Benefis Extended Care Center.

At her request, no services are planned. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O'Connor Funeral Home.
Ruth was born March 9, 1918, at home on the family farm near Kolin to Ronnaug and Lodver Hage. She graduated from high school in Moccasin. She married E. Ray Tripp in 1950. Together they owned and operated the Tripp Inn Gift Shop and the Hellgate Trading Post in Missoula. Ray passed away in March 1974. Ruth moved to Great Falls in August of 2012 to be near her daughter.
Ruth was a member of the Missoula Seniors Center. She enjoyed traveling and went on several trips with members of the Senior Citizen Center around the United States and Europe. When she still had her home in Missoula, she had a big garden and loved all the fresh vegetables, strawberries, raspberries and apples. She loved sharing them with friends and neighbors. She was a good cook, and she liked to bake.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Nobbs of Great Falls; sister Helen Fries of Lewistown; and her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law Floyd Nobbs; sisters Agnes Sebree, Helen Zwemke and Pauline Sebree; and brother John Hage.
