GREAT FALLS —Fae Weigum Brazer, 86, of Great Falls, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from pneumonia after suffering a stroke on January 8, 2014.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Schnider Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 926 Smelter Ave NW. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Fae was born on July 7, 1927 in Sidney, Montana to Jacob and Bertha (Arp) Weigum. She was raised east of Fairview, on the river bottom. She went to school and graduated from Fairview High School. She married David Brazer on June 17, 1946. They were married for 51 years until his death in 1998.
Fae worked as a retail bookkeeper for many years in various locations, but always seemed to find her way back to J.C. Penney. She was with them for over 50 years.
She liked to go fishing when she was younger, but as she got older she enjoyed hearing everyone else's stories about the great outdoors. Being with her grandsons always brought an extra big smile to her face. She dedicated her life to Jehovah in 1964 and loved to share her faith with others.
Fae is survived by her only child, Gary (Loretta) Brazer of Great Falls; two grandsons, Jacob and Nicholas Brazer both of Great Falls; two brothers, Jerry Weigum from Big Horn, WY and Dan Weigum of AZ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David and her parents.
Condolences for the family may be posted online at www.schniderfuneralhome.com.
