Key David Anderson Obituary
Key David Anderson

Geyser —Key David Anderson, 77, of Geyser, passed away on April 9 at his home of natural causes. Cremation is in the care of Croxford Funeral Home. A reception will be held on Wednesday, April 16 at 11:00 am at Geyser Community Center. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Key, or David to those who knew him well, was born in Butte on January 10, 1937. He graduated high school in Geyser and went on to attend Montana State University in Bozeman. He was a self-employed rancher, member of NRA and Montana Angus Association, and was awarded Conservationist of the Year.

In 1965 he was married to Mickey, the love of his life. Where she was, he was. He'd be the first to tell you that he loved to watch her watch the Vikings. He also loved to hunt, spend time with family and friends, entertain company, and last but not least, he loved his dogs. He was known for being a great conversationalist, always having a good joke and a cup of coffee in his hand.

David is survived by wife, Mickey Anderson; daughters, Vonnie (John) Permann, Julie (Kevin) Lappy, Lorie (Russ) Myskewitz, Janie Robinson, Kristi (Matthew) Dobler; sister, Nan Anderson; grandchildren, Josh, Mat, Devvon, Ross, Jessica, Mathew, Hollie, Gabriel, and Samantha; and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the foundation of their choice within the Geyser community.
