Annie Jacob (Waldner) Wipf

Glendale Colony —Annie J. (Waldner) Wipf, 81, passed away Thursday (04/24/2014) at her Glendale Colony Home north of Cut bank. Funeral services will be noon Sunday at her home with burial to follow in the Colony Cemetery. Whitted Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.

She was born Dec. 25, 1932 in New Dayton, Alberta to Jacob & Mary (Kleinsasser) Waldner. She died of natural causes April 24th at her home.

Annie moved to Choteau, Montana July 29, 1948 where she married John on July 29, 1953. Annie and John moved to Cut Bank, Montana in October of 1969. Together they raised 11 children.

She is survived by sons and daughters Annie and Elizabeth, Jacob (Dorothy), Paul (Lydia), and Ben (Mary) all of Glendale Colony, Reverend Peter (Christina), Joe (Annie), and Elias Frieda all of Carter, Montana, David of Great Falls, and Mary (Sam) Decker of Standard, Alberta; two sisters, two brothers, as well as 21 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband John in April of 2013; son John; grandson Jason; sisters Mary and Rebecca, and a brother Jacob. She was a busy homemaker all of her life. She was the Colony head cook and helped her husband at the dairy barn. She also loved to sing and knit for all of her grandchildren. She will be long remembered and missed dearly by all her children and grandchildren.
