CHESTER - Florence E. (Cross) Brandt Johnson, 92, a Rudyard homemaker who lived at the Sweetgrass Lodge in Chester for the past 26 years, and who enjoyed reading, cooking and crocheting, died of natural causes Sunday at the Liberty Medical Center in Chester.
Her funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday at the Chester Assembly of God Church, followed by a reception at the church hall. Graveside services and burial is 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Rudyard Cemetery. Rockman Funeral Chapel of Chester is in charge of arrange-ments.
Survivors include a son, Loren Brandt of Missoula; a daughter, Maureen Cicon of Chester; a stepdaughter, Marlene Hanson of San Rafael, Calif.; and siblings Norma Jewett of Seattle, Margaret Gorder of Havre, Velma Johnson of Great Falls, and Charles Cross of Butte; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Loren Brandt in 1948, and Alfred Johnson in 1963.
